Practical Consultants is a composite of a number of companies and operations, created to provide sensible, simple, practical solutions to the challenges we meet in a variety of situations and industries.

I started the company in 2003 (after 25 years in teaching and training) because I found no-one out there in the business world willing to find the cheapest , simplest solution to a client's needs. Psycho babble, testing, assumptions and irrelevancies resulted in highly expensive , usually unworkable programs being sold. Consultants demanding months of fees and producing hardly a perceptible increase in  company's profit. Kids still unable to read after leaving school. Staff unable to read the work manual or understand simple instructions.
         Plenty of sizzle and very little steak!!

All our solutions are simple yet effective (and cost effective) and generally rely on good old common sense. Whether we are training staff to be more productive; delivering communications skills that really work; coming up with marketing strategies  for a tenth of the usual cost or  even finding the best way to get painters onto a building twenty story's high..... we are there to produce RESULTS.
